Praise God for His Facts

While visiting with a friend last night I realized they are going through a rough time. The first response to this awful news was to commiserate with them. I felt the panic and pain. We discussed it. I sent prayers upward on their behalf. About halfway through the conversation God spoke to my heart. And I began to talk about God instead of the problem. Faith rose up in me and as I spoke the TRUTH over my friend she too had faith rise up in her. The talk went from wringing of hands to praising the Lord. By the time our visit was over, they knew that God was with them, for them and would always take care of them.

Oh beloved, wherever you are this day, it’s time to fact check your situation. You’ve been bruised by the lies of the enemy. You’ve been tossed around like a rag doll because that old slew footed lying liar has told you it’s hopeless, you’re helpless and there’s nothing that can be done. Panic was your mode. But this morning you are rising up above the earthly circumstances and moving into the heavenlies with the Lord! You’re going from panic to praise. You’re checking the FACTS of God against the circumstances. Jesus went to the cross so that you could rely on the Father for EVERYTHING.

It’s time to speak to the situation and say “What does God say about this?” Then pick up the pace and quote the Word of God into the atmosphere. God says He will never leave me or desert me. God says no weapon formed against me will prosper. God says I am the righteousness of God in Christ. God says as I confess any sin He is faithful and just to forgive my sins – and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. God says His mercies are new every morning. God says all things work together for my good.

Fact check whatever is coming into your ears and touching your heart. Know God’s Word, love the Lord with all your heart, stay very close to Him. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Resist the devil and He will flee. And trust in the Lord and do good – that way you will inherit the land! You’ll take possession of the promises of God and throw out the lies of the enemy!

God loves you and He’s for you! Those words alone send the enemy scurrying for the darkness. Praise is your weapon in the battlefield of life. Praise the Lord, praise Him for His truth and goodness and tender loving care. Praise Him that you are going through whatever it is and coming out on the other side full of greater revelation! Rejoice that you can live joyfully in the Light of the Kingdom and Truth!

Proverbs 30: 5 Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to Him for protection.

2 Corinthians 10: 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. NIV

Psalm 119: 89 Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.

Ephesians 6: 17- 18 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
