A Carrier of Glory

Nothing like spending time in the dentist’s office. It was also time to update all my information, so paperwork was handed to me and as I filled it out It thought about all the diseases that I could have – it is quite the list on the paperwork.

Thankfully I am not a carrier of all those things. I was blessed that the dentist even called me last night to check on how I was doing. Thankfully, again, I can say I am doing great.

Oh beloved, aren’t’ we blessed that our lives are not just a list of things we have wrong with us? You may have been dealing with much in your physical body or even emotionally. But that’s not the list that God speaks over you. He has not called you to be an anxiety carrier. You are called to cast all your cares upon Him – for He cares for you! He calls you in the middle of the night. He blesses you in the night watches. His Word has great emotional force on your life. You aren’t called to carry around condemnation. You are called to display the forgiveness, release, freedom, pardon and liberty through Christ! This life has dental appointments in it, as well as doctor’s visits, medicine and troubles. But you aren’t a carrier of those things. You are a displayer of His glory everywhere you go. Every appointment you have is a divine meeting somewhere in it. There is something about carrying around Jesus with you everywhere you go that changes the atmosphere and gives everyone a blessed moment.

God wants you to know that He is with you through it all. He didn’t give you the troubles you have, but He will see you through and cause all things to work together for your good! The devil wants you loaded down with sorrow, fear, trouble, anxious thoughts and disappointing outcomes. Those are not yours to carry. Write it down on a list if you need to – look through the Word and discover Jesus’s burdens are light and your life is Light in the Lord!

God loves you and He’s for you. Right now. Right here. Without reservation. Run to Him this morning and ask Him for clarity over all the situations you are in today. And praise Him, worship Him and thank Him for the help for removing the burdens you weren’t born again to carry. Ask Him to fill you with Holy Spirit who lightens everything and gives you peace- and live in the Light of His Wonderful Ways!

Matthew 11: 28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Jeremiah 31: 25 For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.

Matthew 11: 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Psalm 116: 7 Return unto your rest, O my soul; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

2 Corinthians 3: 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
