Ageless In The Kingdom

I hope I’m not the only one who ever feels like you’d like to go back and do things over, do things better or get to do some things more. I like to think I’ve done good but the memories are so precious I want to return to them especially for longer. There was a picture of our Stella that showed up on my memories list. It was of her still in NICU and her Popaw was there visiting. It reminded me how much I wanted to just quit work and help take care of babies because it was a hard time for the family. I remember how quickly time flies, especially today as it is one of our own children’s birthdays. Oh, to go back and enjoy those days again and maybe for some of us, even do things a little better.

If we’re not careful we will listen to the regrets or the mistakes or the wishful memories and we won’t even get to enjoy today.

Oh beloved, God says its time to quit. Quit looking back and allowing the enemy to give you regrets. Life is full of joy and it also has a few things we all wish we could do over. But we aren’t the sum of our mistakes or wishes. God wants you to know this morning that you are more than that. You are more than a blip on a radar from the past. You have things to accomplish even today that are important enough to drop the regrets. You are being used by Him for His glory and even when you think nothing is going on of Kingdom importance, He is still doing precious faith feats through you. While the enemy wants to exploit you and cause you misery, the King of your heart wants you to focus on the exploits you do for Him.

Life is an adventure and even though you may consider yourself aged (older) you are still ageless in the Kingdom. All adventures have wildernesses and deep forests and dark moments where you aren’t sure of your direction. But you can be 100% sure God hasn’t failed you yet, so why would He fail you now? Keep living for Jesus, and ask Him for a greater desire to do just that. Love who you have to love that is with you, pray without ceasing, give Him the glory and remember that it’s all about Jesus and what He did and continues to do for you!

God loves you and He’s for you. Best life yet! Run to Him this morning and hand Him your regrets and praise Him for mercy and grace. Put the enemy to flight as you worship the One who has forgiven all your trespasses and covered all your regrets. And live, beloved, today, in the Light of His wonderful Love!
