Phillipians 4: 8-9 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
God is the epitome of justice! And during man’s life on earth, He sends rain on the just and unjust. And though we have heard that all people are created equal, is that true? What about a child born to parents addicted to drugs or alcohol living in the slums of some large city? Or of children born in homes with no food to eat?
In the beginning, God placed His first man and woman in a perfect place, but created them with abilities to make choices, and because of their wrong choice all individuals since are born with sinful natures. Though God is just, He also is compassionate, and allowed His only Son to die for the sins of all men. But we are not robots: God created us with ability to make choices.
Prayer: Father, You are just and expect Your children to be just and fair in our dealings with others. But since You are just, if individuals reject Jesus as Savior, they will spend eternity in hell separated from You. Forgive us when we fail to tell the unsaved about Your plan for all to be redeemed. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
