Our son and I had a big fight yesterday morning. It was a knock down drag out.
Thankfully we were fighting together against an enemy my son has – a wasp. He’s very allergic to stings so it was almost comical as we ran around the house batting at this nemesis and even knocking something off the wall. He fell in the floor once avoiding the dive bombing of this evil little flyer. Finally, after we had exhausted all efforts I found him sitting on the floor and disposed of him once and for all.
Oh beloved, you and I are in a big fight. We have a big enemy and he wants to sting us with his poison of unforgiveness, unbelief and unwholesome activity. He’s after you and me with all his tactics. Alone, you nor I would win a single fight.
But you beloved, have an inside Winner within you – Holy Spirit! And you have faith friends who will fight the enemy with you and on your behalf. This is the greatest confidence you have – that all the wiles of the enemy are useless when you fight in the Spirit and war in the heavenlies. You have a divine destiny to battle in the Spirit and win in the faith. Yes, you might fall occasionally, but God is always with you and He never leaves you languishing – He always picks you up and sets you aright. Overwhelming victory is yours – through the pain, anguish, fear, and more. Whatever the enemy throws at you is useless against the power of the Only Living God!
God loves you and He’s for you! His hand is on you and His Life is within you. The enemy couldn’t hold Jesus and neither can He hold you. Rejoice that you are fully equipped, spiritually armored and miraculously anointed and appointed to live in the Light of All Spiritual Truth!
Colossians 1: 11 – 12 “We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people, who live in the light.”
Ephesians 6: 12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.”
Ephesians 3: 10 “God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display His wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”
