I told someone Christmas is a lot like a wedding. So much time spent in preparation and poof it’s over!
For better or worse richer or poorer, this year’s celebration is behind us. Are we happy with the day and the time and money we spent on it? Or are we going to rehash disappointments and wonder if anyone enjoyed it?
Oh beloved don’t let the enemy steal your rights. You have the right to live without worry- worry that you didn’t fulfill someone else’s plans. Worry that you did too much or too little. Don’t allow the enemy of your soul to take away the joy and blessings of being in covenant with the Lord. You are blessed beyond measure to be in such a position that you can walk in freedom because you know where to go and who to talk to about it all. Guilt gives way to grace becauseJesus is your advocate. Fear gives way to mercy because He put Himself in your place. You aren’t born again to live in regret. You are in Christ and have the blessing to live fearlessly provided for.
God loves you and He’s for you. Take it all to Him. Repent of what you regret and rejoice over what you enjoyed! And live fully alive as you walk in this amazing position of royalty in the light of His truth and His grace!
Romans 6:14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
Colossians 2:13-14 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
1John 2:1- My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
