We woke up early one morning. By early I mean way before 4:30 am, which is my usual wake up time. Hubby’s back was hurting a little, so we decided to get up and move around. It made me think of one of our precious family members who has truly suffered with back problems for many years. In fact they’ve had surgery several times, alleviating the problem some each time. Recently they had surgery again, but this time the outcome seems to be much more effective. Hopefully and prayerfully, her chronic back pain has truly come to an end.
So I looked up the word chronic and found this: chronic means persistent long standing and difficult to eradicate.
Oh beloved, what are you dealing with this morning that is chronic – persistent and long standing with difficulty to get it eradicated? Could be physical pain for sure. But I hear the Lord speaking. The enemy is persistent and his devices are long standing. He wants to kill, steal and destroy. His pain can come from anywhere and he can use any situation or person. Your prayers may be long standing as you’ve prayed for so long. Your hopes may be waning. Don’t you know that the woman with an issue of blood was tired of it? Her problem made her an outcast. She was done with it.
But then she heard about Jesus! Oh precious believer, you’ve heard about Jesus too! But did you know He came to alleviate your pain as well? He’s an Ever Present Help in time of need! Your needs mean everything to Him. He is on the scene even now administering help, comfort and relief to you. The enemy is not stronger than the King of Kings. You pray from a position of overwhelming victory. Your chronic situations are coming to an end. Deep seated and deep rooted problems are being eradicated. No weapon formed against you will prosper. Every tongue that rises up against you will be silenced. This is your heritage: to live as a servant of the Lord in the righteousness of God.
God loves you and He’s for you. Praying this morning in the name of Jesus that the enemy’s onslaught would cease and desist this day. Also praying that whatever has been spoken to you or over you that is not of God will be silenced. And praying that you will cease to believe the lies and begin to walk in the privilege of godliness. And as you give it all to God and walk in faith, you will put the enemy in his place for he is a lying liar who only speaks condemnation and pain. And hallelujah, that you will live in the Light of God’s overwhelming goodness, healing, refreshing and joy!
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.
Ephesians 5:8-9 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth)
Romans 8:34 Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God–and He is interceding for us.
