Consider It All Joy

James 1: 2 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds”

These days we are facing many ungodly acts of people in our world. We see the worship of self become more prevalent and the times speak for themselves don’t they? Many are perishing without knowing who God is and what Jesus did for them. This is a sense of urgency in life that you place in your heart and mind: the message of the cross to those who are perishing.

1 Corinthians 1: 18 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

To those who are perishing we still have an opportunity to share what we know about Jesus. You will often get push back either by family or people you know throughout your life but we must carry on as a Christian Soldier and remember: “They will know we are Christians by our love”.

Many will find what we say is foolish to them, but our work is to get the message of the gospel into their mind as a seed, someone else that the Holy Spirit will choose will be the water and it is up to that person to make that decisions of a life time. You are the messenger and whether or not they listen is up to them, you will face persecution and it could get difficult but the Holy Spirit will be doing the work. You have a choice to obey and plant the seed. As a Christ follower we are to work for the kingdom and lead those whom God has chosen to Him. Just as He has done for you. You have been saved just so that you will bring many to know Him. Pray for strength and ask for help. As you share more you will be more effective in your approach and will be led to more that need to know Christ’s love.

2 Corinthians 12: 10 “That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

How do you share Christ love with others?

Do you pray for those who resist the cross?
