Decisions We Make

Proverbs 16: 9 “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps”.

As a Christian woman I have learned that in my walk with God that whatever I have done, He has forgiven me.  I can’t keep looking back at the things that didn’t happen and I had to learn to move forward. Many times when I pray the past comes back to my memory to dredge it all up again. satan will always pick prayer time in an attempt to discourage me and fill my mind with things of the past to keep me bound up and discouraged.

It took a long time to understand that this is when you must pray the hardest. Distractions become even more profound, memories try to take your eyes off Jesus and onto things you just cannot change from the past.   Remember that Jesus forgives us and we can move on as He grows us in Christian maturity.  From there we can make good decisions as we are led by the Holy Spirit in prayer.

When you follow the Lord you give up many things, go through many trials and you face things you never thought you could.  When you give your life and circumstances over to Christ, He strengthens you and makes you complete.

Have you made some decisions in your life that you regret?

Do you look back on your life and say why did I do that and not do this?

Did you hurt someone that you now think God could never forgive, let alone that person?
