Scripture: John 20:24-25 “Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
On the evening of the first day after Jesus was resurrected, and His disciples were with Him, but Thomas was absent. and missed a blessing. The other disciples tried to tell Thomas, but he had to be sure; so Jesus came into the room through closed door and proved to Thomas it truly was Jesus.
During these days of remaining at home, I’m not privileged having fellowship with other believers at church and miss the contact, but hope this coronavirus pandemic won’t last forever and life can become more normal again. But that may not be God’s foreordained will, so Lord please give me endurance to finish my journey on earth. Although I’m old and have other limitations, I still endeavor to serve others.
Prayer: Father though I have limitations; I have an alert mind, And many useful activities which I enjoy pursuing still can find. So bless my activities, and help me to maintain an alert mind. And may I be a person compassionate and true to my friends,
