Encourage One Another With Words

Encourage One Another with These Words – “BE”

1)  Be Thankful

“But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God has chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” II Thess. 2:13-14 (CSB)

2)  Be Steadfast

“So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold to the traditions you were taught, whether by what we said or what we wrote.” II Thess. 2:15

3)  Be Encouraged – Be Strengthened

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.”

II Thess. 2:16-17

4)  Be Prayerful

“In addition, brothers and sisters, pray … that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you, and that we (pastors, teachers, missionaries, imprisoned – persecuted Christians) may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not all have faith.” II Thess. 3:1-2

5)  Be Confident

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. May the Lord direct your hearts to God’s love and Christ’s endurance.”  II Thess. 3: 3-5

“Brothers and sisters, do not grow weary in doing good. May the Lord of peace himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with all of  you.”   II Thess. 3:13, 16

While we wait for Christ’s return, encourage one another with these words!

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”  II Timothy 3:16-17
