Fearlessly Stand Our Ground

Coming back from an early morning trip to town last week I spied one of the biggest buck deer I’ve ever seen. He was just majestically standing in an open field. Must have been at least a 10 point. He looked so fearless with his head up and standing completely still.

Oh beloved, that encounter reminds me of God’s provision and promises. Both are linked to our walk with Him. As we fearlessly stand our ground against the enemy we have nothing that can stand against us. He provides all our needs. He remains faithful to us. He walks us through everything.

As we walk out the plans of God, we have no worries. Those plans are designed to free us from the fear of man. No longer are we bound by opinions of mere mortals. That deer was standing in a field in clear sight but no matter how many hunters saw him he was in safe territory- right in front of several houses untouchable there. So too as you do what God asks you and stand in faith even walking through the valley of the shadow of death you fear no evil.

God loves you and He’s for you. Stop trying to hide from your fears. Stop skirting God’s will. You are designed to stand like royalty in the midst of your situations. Rejoice that you get to live free in safe pasture as you walk in the Light of God’s Plan always.

Mark 4: 40 And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Psalm 27: 3 Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.

Romans 8: 15  For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father”
