In Prison Life
Sent to prison by a woman scorned because of her lust for this handsome young man, Joseph is accused of a crime he did not commit and immediately sent to prison by Potiphar. Again it seems, Joseph finds himself in the pit of despair. Had God forsaken him? Would his death come soon? Would he spend his life in the dungeon?
It is in this prison, that Joseph will meet the cup bearer and the baker who displeased Pharaoh in some way. After interpreting their dreams, Joseph had hopes of being allowed to leave the prison but he was forgotten. It would be another two years before Joseph would be remembered. When once again, dreams would play an important role in Joseph’s life. More so than he ever thought.
