Joseph’s Final Days
Genesis 50, the final chapter in Genesis, Jacob is buried in Machpelah in the family tomb. After Jacob’s death and burial, the sons of Jacob are concerned that Joseph would take revenge for their sin against him. The brothers send Joseph a message supposedly from Jacob asking him to forgive the brothers. Joseph’s reaction to the message-he wept. The brothers appear before him falling down on their faces to this powerful man of Egypt. Did Joseph forgive the horrible deed the brother’s committed?
