The Final Test
It is time for the final phase of Joseph’s three part test to determine the hearts of the brothers that sold him into slavery. They have just finished dinner at the house of the Vizier of Egypt aka. Joseph. The brothers didn’t show signs of favoritism when Benjamin was given five times more food and drink than the rest but just to be sure, Joseph would try them once again with a test so intense that the true nature of the brothers would be shown.
Did they still have jealousy and hatred toward the sons of Rachael? Were they capable of treating Benjamin with hatred as they did with Joseph? Had they repented for their evil deed of selling Joseph into slavery? Joseph must know for sure.
