Sometimes while an individual is enduring a problem or difficult situation, she might ask: where was God when I needed Him? He was at the same place he was when His Son was hanging on the cross paying the debt for your sins and mine.
He is aware of each little sparrow that falls to the ground, he knows the number of hairs on your head and mine. Also I might add that He sees each tear I shed, every fall I take, and shares with me in every blessing He gives.
The writer of Hebrews stated:
“And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account…15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4: 13, 15
So God is not some distant, uncaring dictator; He is a compassionate and loving heavenly Father, who loves you and me so much He gave His own Sins, and His Holy Spirit ever lives in our hearts to guide us, and convinces us of our sins, but He also comforts and helps us in our daily living.
Heavenly Father, if someone reads these words and needs such a Savior, may she accept Him into her heart and life today. Since Jesus made this possible, we pray and thank You in His name. Amen.
