God Knows What You’re Looking For

My hubby had his enlistment buddy on his mind last week. He decided he would try to find information about him if he could. He searched some free genealogy information and more. Nothing could be found. I even looked as well and could find nothing. I tried one more search, a social media site, and just put his name in there with Vietnam. Suddenly there was all the information Danny was looking for and more. Turns out while Danny was thinking about his friend last week, another high school acquaintance posted the information on their mutual classmate on his own page. Right out of the blue right?

Oh beloved, why am I telling you this? Listen, aren’t we blessed? God cares about what you and I care about. He knows your thoughts and your desires. He knows your searches for truth and justice and closure. I don’t know how He does it, but God will make it all available to you. He is King over all the earth. He isn’t just loving and caring, He is interested. Although He is independent of need, He meets your needs. Although He created the world without your help, He has enlisted you as a believer to walk this earth in faith and strength from Him.

Whatever you are going through, whatever you are seeking, the answer is found when you seek the Lord with all of your heart. Just when you least expect it, even when you may have given up, God will arrive on the scene of your life and make a way where there is no way. He was with both my hubby and all his buddies all these years. And He will remain with you through the years. You may have troubles and concerns, but you don’t have to give up, give in, or fall into depression over anything. You are not the sum of your lost hopes, you are in the process of receiving restoration even now!

God loves you and He’s for you. Ask Him for help. Seek His desires for you. Get to know Him better. As you learn to lean on His wisdom, power and love you will grow in knowledge of the wonders of life in Christ. And then you can live the seeker’s life – knowing that He will be found and your needs will always be met in Him!

Psalm 119:2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart.

2 Chronicles 15:4 But in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought Him, and He was found by them.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

Ephesians 1:17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. AMP
