“How precious to me are Your blessings, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I could count them, they are more than the sand.” Psalm 139: 17-18
What an overwhelming way David found to describe God’s blessings. No man could count the million grains of sand on the beach; neither can the finite mind count the blessings enjoyed each day given by God. Most of us are so accustomed to these blessings that they are taken for granted. How many of us thank God for gravity, air we breathe, water we drink, and the ground upon which we walk?
Heavenly Father, many of Your blessings, we never say thank You for, but we want to thank You today. We also ask Your forgiveness for our ingratitude and other sins. Since Jesus made that possible, we thank You in His name. Amen.
