That is a rather sobering thought, but none of us have assurance of tomorrow, and especially the remaining days of the year. So what are the most essential things I would like to complete if I knew this would be the last year of my life?
First, I would want to have assurance there is no sin in my life not forgiven by God. I would like for each member of my family to know God and be serving Him. And God is allowing me to live a long life, and it’s my desire to be able to serve Him as long as I live on this earth, and then throughout eternity.
And since I live in Florida and my plan is for my body to be buried in Arkansas, much will be involved for my sons; so my prayer is for God to help them with these final affairs and do them agreeably.
Currently I am feeling great, and my desire is that God will continue to bless me with good health. And maybe less important, but before 2018 ends, I no longer want to be confined to this upstairs apartment, but able to resume some outside activities which I enjoy.
Heavenly Father, my list could continue, but You know my every need and have promised to supply every need according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. So I thank and praise You in the name of Jesus. Amen.
