Infinitely More

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his all mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. – Ephesians 3:20

Every minute of every day, thoughts go in and out of our minds. While driving to work in the morning, we may be thinking about the day ahead. What we need to do when we get to our desks, the meeting that we have at 1pm, what we are going to make for dinner tonight when we get home. Endless thoughts are constantly going around in our minds. If we take all of those thoughts, worries, questions, doubts, and then consider Jesus in the midst of it, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than that. Our solution to our own problem may be microscopic in comparison to how Jesus wants to work out a solution to our problems. We just need to be patient as he works. He is always working within us, he knows every situation that we are going to encounter, and he knows how we will get through them all. It is in the moment that we truly realize what God is doing within us, that the thoughts begin to pause because we know that God always has our backs and that he will never let us down.

Lord, in the midst of all the chaos that a day can bring, please continue working within us. You know where you want each of us to be Lord. Guide us as we get there. Show us where we are meant to be Lord as we trust your work. We ask this in your name Lord, Amen.
