Joyful Call to Worship

We hadn’t been in a church building in nearly a month with hospital and then rehab hospital. But we had church. Fellowship with Jesus becomes so much sweeter when He’s all you have to hold onto.

Danny and I have watched more music videos from VTN and enjoyed various preachers. We also took communion together after hearing a televised pastor talk about the importance of it. Just like at our wedding it was just the two of us – only with cranberry juice and saltines. It was the most touching event I’ve experienced in a long time. Danny said read from Matthew. And we followed Jesus’s words.

We are prone to leave the spiritual for the daily grind aren’t we? Until we find ourselves in a place of complete surrender. Then and only then you and I will fall in love with the Lord fresh and new.

Oh beloved! God loves you so much! He’s not fettered by anything that you feel holds you captive. The bread and the wine herald your freedom and your redemption! All paid for by Christ so you can live free and enjoy uninterrupted intimacy with Him.

God loves you and He is for you. Even when the familiar is gone you can climb into Abba Father’s arms and feel His Presence. His Holy Spirit is wooing you to secret living with Him. Rejoice that you are learning more about Him and being changed as you live in the Light of His glory and grace.

Psalm 91: 1-2  “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.”

Job 42: 5  “My ears had heard of You but now my eyes have seen You.”

Psalm 89: 15  “Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD.”
