Let The Praises Ring

We should start each day with praise.  We have no reason not to do so.

Matthew 10 says, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.  But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.  Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”

He protected us while we were sleeping; He gave us the breath in our lungs; and He awakened us in the morning.  Before our feet hit the floor, we should give Him praise.  He knows the numbers of the hairs on our head.  He knows when we fall and He is there to catch us.

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”  He is always with us.  He will NEVER leave us or forsake us.  Not only is He with us, He is LEADING us.  He is walking ahead of us and guiding us.

“You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light.”  2 Samuel 22: 29

On those days when the darkness is overwhelming, we must keep our eyes on Him.  “The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him.”
Romans 8: 16, 17

He invited us into His story.  We are sons and daughters.  We are joint heirs with Christ and that calls for nothing less than praise.
