Matthew 5:16  “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

As believers, we need to let our light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven. We all play an important role in His kingdom, do not let the enemy take that from you. Everything we say and do should glorify our Father In heaven. He has bestowed unique gifts upon every one of us, what are you doing with them? You may be good at speaking, writing, cooking, singing, or teaching. Whatever your gift may be I encourage you to identify it and to pray to God to see if that is what he has called you to do.

How can you use those gifts to advance Gods Kingdom? Psalm 119:105  declares “your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

His Word is our light to our homes and our hearts. Allow His word to light up your life, allow His word to light up the paths of others. Demonstrate His love for Believers and non-believers.  Once you allow your light to go dim we may not see the work of our Heavenly Father, you may lose sight of who you in Christ. You begin to go off course when you don’t allow your light to shine bright.

1 Timothy 4:14 (NIV) “Do not neglect your gift, which was given to you through prophecy when the body of the elders laid their hands on you.”

Don’t be mad when you see someone else doing what God asked you to do. Don’t waste the gifts God has given to you, use them for His glory, and put them into good use.  It is time to stop listening to the labels of this world. You have to decide to say enough is enough. Do not allow the enemy to win for we have the victory. Read your bible and learn what his Word says about you,  learn about what our heavenly Father did for you. Get encouraged because the moment you were saved, you are accepted into God’s family. Now it’s time to tell others about the good news and to share your story. Don’t forget to give God the glory, that is who we live for.

Heavenly Father I thank you for your servant who is taking this time to read Your word, I ask that You would reveal and help them to identify their gifts. Allow their light to shine so bright for all to see the glorious works of our Heavenly Father. We thank You for having a mighty work through us and we are so humbled to be Your servants. Give us an unshakable faith that we cannot contain, give us a boldness to serve You like never before. In Jesus mighty name amen.
