Meet “Lisa Roberts”

Lisa has a background in human resources and career development. She has spent most of her life teaching others to look inside themselves and find their worth. Having felt the hand of God on her since childhood, she has recently began ministering by writing and public speaking. Lisa currently mentors ladies who have been victims of human trafficking and are looking to begin a new life. She does public speaking engagements in churches and other places as well. With her down to earth personality as well as the transparency about her own psychotic episode, she is able to touch hearts as people are made aware of Jesus’s love for them.

Leave Your Past Behind

Are you overwhelmed by your circumstances and seeking peace in your life? Does your heart hurt as you strive to see light at the end of the tunnel? This misery can stop now! Learn the secret to a new life. Struggling to put her psychotic episode behind her, Lisa learned how to find her worth in God, love herself, and begin a new life. You will see how she realized how much she means to her Savior. If you are in the midst of a stormy life or battling your own “Goliath,” you can stop right where you are and begin again. Your age or the number of troubles you’re dealing with make no difference. Come as you are to a loving God who is just waiting for you to ask for His help. Get out of your comfort zone and trust Him to provide you with a new life. This process is not for the faint of heart, but for the ones who know changes are needed in their lives and are ready to pursue them.

A Time to Keep and a Time to Throw Away

My book gives an account of my mother’s battle with colon cancer and how it affected me. I would not allow myself to grieve because that would make the situation real. Instead of turning to God to hold me tight through the loss of my mom, I made myself and everyone around me miserable by creating lots of drama. My family and friends faded one by one as my life seemed to be falling apart at the seams. Finally, I hit rock bottom and that’s when my life turned around for the better. I turned to God and asked Him to help me out of the pit that I fell into and I started the grieving process. I still miss my mother, but I am a whole person now and learning to live again. This book is dedicated to anyone that has lost a loved one or anything or anybody that they love.
