I’m in shock. This Word NEED. I’ve been reading another online faith friend’s battle with her husband’s illness. He’s been stricken with a viral infection attacking his nervous system. This morning as I read I prayed even more. And she was specific with their needs. Financial, healing, pain relief, etc. Specific.
I have needs! My husband has needs! We’ve been through this season of sickness that we’ve never had before. Not in 44 years of marriage have either of us ever been very sick. Danny has not been in the hospital since he was 9 years old!
You too have needs! I know you do. It’s scary to place our needs out for prayer isn’t it? We just want God to do it for us and He does. But He uses me for you and you for me!
Oh beloved, most of all GOD wants you to know that HE is completely aware of ALL YOUR NEEDS. He knows you are needy and desperate for relief. And He wants you to know that He is completely capable of MEETING ALL YOUR NEEDS. He will call on people but we don’t have to rely on them. He will call on you and He would like to rely on you to fulfill His call to meet a need. Isn’t this amazing?
God loves you and He’s for you. He promises that He will supply ALL YOUR NEEDS. Keep praying, pray for others, let Him use you to meet a need. And rest in His promises as you walk through this present trouble knowing that your NEEDS are already taken care of as you walk in the Light of His amazing, magnificent, unprecedented care of you!
Philippians 4: 19 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
2 Corinthians 8: 14 “Right now you have plenty and can help those who are in need. Later, they will have plenty and can share with you when you need it. In this way, things will be equal.”
If you’d like to pray specifically for us – pray for favor with the financial department of the hospital that they will grant us help with the immense medical bills. Pray for complete healing for Danny. We are thankful but we are still asking God for restoration. Pray that I will not be weary in well-doing – and I’m doing a lot of things that I never thought I’d be doing. Pray for joy to overflow in our lives while we are going through it all. Thank you and Bless you!
