New Hearts

Ezekiel 11: 19 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.”

When God changes your heart, you are changed forever.

He gives you a new transformed heart, one that is pliable and ready to be used. From a hardened one to one made of flesh.

My heart was pretty hard before I came to Christ, I would justify saying or doing things to people that were not very nice, when Jesus saved me my heart began to change. I started to feel convicted more of the things I say to people, apologizing if I hurt them instead of feeling entitled to say or do the wrong things to now feel shame. This heart of flesh that I have didn’t happen over night, it was God’s slow process of polishing and getting rid of the “old me”. I prayed for a very long time for God to change my heart, for Christ to be seen in me and that people would feel safe to be around me to confide in a heart made to love others and not to judge them.

Ezekiel 36: 26 “ I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

You see when you call on Jesus to help you change, watch out- He changes you from darkness to a light bearer and transforms your mind to see Him in others as well.

By the way you think of others does your heart need prayer?

How can you tell that Christ has taken hold of your heart for a change?

Do you feel bitter a lot and envious instead of loving and accepting?
