One Constant
We realized after coming home from the rehab hospital that we had been gone so long that our local discount store had been completely repainted.
Time does not stop while we are experiencing difficult times. Things change. We change. Life changes. But one constant in all of life’s ups and downs is the Lord.
Oh beloved. God is not going to disappoint you. When you are at your worst moments or when things are completely changing in your world He is still God. He wants you to know that He is with you. His hand is on you. And your calling is still present. What He is doing is painting the canvas of your world. He is lovingly wiping your tears and gallantly protecting your virtue. He is also making you stronger. He’s not going to ruin your life. He’s going to change you from the inside out. This is the Father’s pleasure- to take something even the enemy might throw at you and make unprecedented glory from the stormiest moment you’ve ever encountered.
God loves you and He’s for you. Stop looking at the storm and start rehearsing His promises. Even if everything changes you will be safe in His arms and walking in faith as you live beyond the changes and safe in His will for your life.
Isaiah 54: 10 “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” Says the LORD who has compassion on you.”
Hebrews 12: 27-28 “The words, “Once more,” signify the removal of what can be shaken–that is, created things–so that the unshakable may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe”
Acts 20: 32 “And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
