Our Creator

Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider Your heavens the works of Your hands, the moon and stars which You have ordained”

Drew and I went to the science museum this weekend. It was great, we both had fun. We also went in and saw the Celestial show on the interstellar heavens. It was a wonderful show and really brought the knowledge of how vast the heavens truly are. We saw our Solar System of course, the Milky Way and then went out past light speed and saw how many other galaxies there are and there are millions by the way.

When we left out of there Drew looked at me and said “I know nothing!” I told him I felt the same way. There is so much more that God has created that we have no knowledge of and we are so minute compared to the glorious vast expanse that He has made. And yet He is so concerned about us that He knows every hair on our head!

Our problems should vanish in light of Who He is and what He has done but truly as I experienced even last night when my focus is on my problems or my friends and families problems then God becomes tiny and our problems become so great that they overwhelm us. When we step back and think of all God has done, the intricate details, the perfect positioning for life even on this planet alone. And the mere fact that we are a speck on a speck on a speck like Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who, but the very same God who SPOKE all the millions of galaxies into place in perfect order wants and desires with all He is to have a relationship with me and each one of us it is truly mind blowing.

God gave me this one several years ago but is still true today!
