Scripture: There are six things the Lord hates; seven that are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood; a heart that devises wicked plans; feet that haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. Proverbs 6: 16-19.

Scripture: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12: 21.
What are some ways in which this can be achieved? This is a truthful saying that an idle brain is the devil’s playhouse. But some positive ways to prevent that in your life is to be busy doing constructive activities I feel qualified to write this: because at age one hundred one plus, I spend most of my waking hours at my desk using my computer to write books, poems, and devotions to share with others.
After Hurricanes Matthew and Irene blew rain into the wall of our house, mold was a result. I won’t give all details, but we were advised to leave the house; so my family lived as evacuees many months. We returned home April 12, 2019, but all things still aren’t in their order. I mention this to remind my readers, that I did not sit idle during my life as an evacuee, but used much of my time to write books and other material.
Prayer thought: Heavenly Father, thank You for a lucid mind and ability to use a computer at my age and spend hours writing: because writing is good therapy for me. I pray and thank You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
