Danny and I enjoy traveling. Sometimes by car, sometimes by truck and sometimes by motorcycle. In the last 40+ years he’s not gotten us lost one single time. He has an excellent sense of direction. He doesn’t get turned around. We’ve had a couple of “discussions” when I was sure he was going the wrong way. Of course inevitably he was right and I was wrong. He’s a trustworthy leader. He’s given guidance on trips with just the two of us. He’s given direction to large groups in trips across the country. I trust Him completely. I do not trust myself. I’m glad I’ve got a great pilot to steer us right so I can just relax and let him lead.
Oh beloved, you have an awesome Guide for your life. He is your trustworthy leader. He will never get you lost. He will always steer you in the right direction. He is patient when you question Him and still He keeps guiding. Although He leads a multitude of believers in the world, He is intimately acquainted with your need to be led. You can relax and let God lead you because Jesus paved the way for a successful trip all the way to heaven. I know sometimes it’s hard to believe He’s taking you the right way, but if you will trust Him and relax you will be amazed at the outcome of His leadership. Even if you try to go your own way, the moment you call out to Him for help, He will come and take back the helm of your life ship. He’s never done with you. He never refuses to guide you, direct you and lead you to His perfect will all the days of your life. Even if you have to travel through hardships, darkness, troubles, fears, worries, or other rough neighborhoods of life, He will be with you. He will get you through to better roads, higher ground and on to your destiny as a fully surrendered believer. He knows you have control issues, that you want to know why, how, when and where. He says patience is your best virtue and trust is your roadmap. Try Him today and see…no one who trusts in Him is left in confusion.
God loves you and He’s for you. Run to Him this morning and ask Him to renew your belief in Him, return your joy in following Him and restore your faith in His outcome for your life. You are blessed, chosen, carried and piloted by a right on time Savior. Enjoy the ride as God takes you where you could never go on your own, navigated by the Light of His Glory and Grace.
