Power

Oh beloved, the storms of life may rage around you but they will not last forever. Their power is limited. When the darkness is all around you it’s not the time to be fearful or doubtful. God is with you always. He will sit with you in the dark and call you into the best fellowship. His light is the Light of the World but it’s also the light for you to live by.

Just as my parents were prepared ahead of the storm, so too it’s best for you to be prepared. Your best protection against the storms of life is to have wonderful conversations with the Lord and sing praises daily. Worship is a weapon that defeats the darkness. Praise is another weapon that reminds the dark times that God is with you. Conversations with the Lord promote intimacy that will keep you in all your ways. Enjoy Holy Spirit’s presence and cultivate your faith in that ever present help in time of need. You aren’t destined to collapse at every storm’s powerful arrival. Rather you are destined to live so intimately with the Lord that storms are barely noticed because you are comfortable with being in the Cleft of the Rock at all times.

God loves you and He will always be with you. There is no other place that you can go where He will show you His power and you will be so protected. Run to Him this morning, whether it’s clear or stormy and thank Him that He is your constant Companion and Comforter. Rest in His promises, ask for fresh infilling and live a fearless life as you walk in His Presence and talk with Him daily wherever you may be.

Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.

Psalm 34:19 The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.

Matthew 22:37 And Jesus replied to him,  ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ AMP

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. AMP
