We’ve all done it at one time or another. Forgotten an ingredient in a recipe or mixed an unnecessary element or even whipped it all up wrong. I remember a sponge cake my niece and I made together when we were just kids. We ended up with a flat block of something far removed from sponge cake. All because we didn’t follow the directions.
God speaks to my heart. Successful outcomes happen when My people follow My directions. Any concoction of ingredients added to or taken away from My Word spells failure for My Word stands alone and has all you will ever need for Life and Godliness.
Oh beloved, the world is so very mixed up in its concoction of life. But you never have to make your own recipe. God has you in His hands and He will guide you all the way to true success. Others may tell you His Word is old fashioned and not for today’s world. But in reality God’s Word is supremely designed for perfection in any time of life. Yes it’s the same old way of the King, but that same old way has stood the test of time and will continue to stand.
God wants you to know that despite the conflicts you may encounter over standing for the Word, praying the Word, preaching the Word and living according to the Word, you are God’s monogram of success today! You don’t have to wait and see how things come out. You can KNOW that God will make sure your life is perfected in Christ. Even though the Word says sound doctrine will not be endured, you beloved, are going to stick with the Lord and remain steadfast and immovable through it all. Even if your loved ones have moved away from the Lord’s recipe, your prayers are hovering over their concoctions of life. Your prayers keep them stirred up and in conflict. Good! It’s a spiritual battle that is raging for the hearts and minds of your loved ones and for all creation. Even though you feel the conflict, you are in the winner’s seat with sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Even the kingdoms of this world find great chaos in their plans for you stand and stir and talk truth over yourself, your family, your nation and its leaders. Glory to God you are a necessary part of God’s recipe of faith today!
God loves you and He’s for you. And He loves to bless those who bless Him. Run to Him this morning and thank Him for giving you everything you need to remain steadfast through it all. And keep living beloved, in the Light of His Glory and Power!
Ephesians 6: 17-18 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the LORD’s people.
