Confidence Out of Mishaps

My mom had incredible confidence. Her entire life was a series of one mishap or another mixed with amazing and unprecedented blessings. I think her confidence arose from never focusing on the mishaps but rather showcasing the good things that came her way. She was industrious and worked into her 70’s. With Every Sunset

I sat watching yet another beautiful fall sunset over the lake where I recently have moved.  If you know me, I am always chasing the sun.  I love watching the sun rise but I find deep soulful moments watching the sunset at night. God’s Knowledge

Not many people can say they had an alligator as a pet. But I did. For a short time. My dad worked off shore and one of his returns for time off he brought me a baby alligator. I might have been three. We put it in the bathtub and I could hold it by its tail. We took that alligator with us when we came to Arkansas to visit family. My dad turned it loose in a nearby pond.
