The other morning I felt the urge to go on a walk outside, but I took one look outside and decided that was a bad idea. In fact, I had reasonable justification not to go. 1. It was foggy; I wouldn’t be able to see. 2. It was cold; I hate the cold. 3. I didn’t get very much sleep last night; I’m tired. Extreme Experiences
Life is full of experiences. Recently I experienced extremes for sure. One was a conversation with a “Christian” literary agent. It was a very short back and forth over devotionals and books. She had asked to see some of my work. So I sent her some devotionals. She answered back within a few minutes with a nice but negative response. Her response kind of hit me in the emotions. But I know God called me to write. But right after that conversation I saw a post where a faith friend shared something I posted and gave a beautifully positive response. …
