Gifts and Desires and Destiny!

A friend’s post mentioned that her children are reading The Boxcar Children series of books. That really touched my heart because those were some of my favorite books when I was a child. And I was thrilled that there are still children who still love to read books. I looked up the author, Gertrude Chandler Warner, and find out that from the age of five, she dreamed of becoming an author. Ancestry of Faith

There is this fascination with knowing my ancestors that results from never really knowing anything about anyone beyond my grandfather Warren.  So imagine my delight when I recently found a family tree with Warrens several generations back!  Not only that, I found a very distant living cousin as well.  I still don’t know about those who came before me.  I just know their names.  I could spend much time trying to glean more information but I’m quite happy to know that my grandfather had a grandfather and I know his name.  I don’t know them – but I know something …
