Life Through the Spirit

Romans 8:1-2  “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” It was impossible to keep all the Jewish laws; and it especially was difficult for women who were not considered significant to society. It’s amazing Jesus raised status of women. And no matter how sinful. He forgave sins and instead of condemning a woman told her to go and not continue living sinful lives. “The teachers of the law …

Being Forgiven

Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” King David was named as a man after God’s own heart. Create in Me A Clean Heart

So many times, we allow the actions of others to depict the way we live our lives. The decisions we make become based upon the world’s idea of what we should do and not based on what the Father would have us do. I know that I have done many things in my past that may not have exactly represented God….there was a period of time in my life that I even …

Forever Forgiveness

“…their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:17 Have you ever pondered on this verse? There is no comparison to any other thing in our lives! I have heard Christians say, “there is nothing God cannot do!” I understand the premise for their statement, but I would say (and thankfully so) that there really are some things God cannot do. He cannot lie, He cannot sin, He cannot change, and there are others, but what a blessing that He cannot remember forgiven sin!!! What a gift!  What freedom!!! …

The Word is – Woman

What a word for a fabulous Friday morning.  It’s been a week, September was a month, October is on a roll and in fact, the last year has been cray cray! I wouldn’t want to go through any of it again.  But when I think about the Lord and His overwhelming, unbelievable, supernatural love for me I just remember these words… “Dear Woman, why are you crying?” Do you know a more beautiful word than woman?  Jesus spoke it first upon His resurrection and He spoke it with love and concern.  He found her looking for Him! He went on …
