The Needy

There will always be people in need; those who have found themselves destitute or poverty-stricken. God sees them too. That’s why He sends people like you and me to help. Don’t ignore God’s calling on your life. I never thought I’d be serving in the mission fields of Peru, until it happened. This single event changed my life forever. It made me realize that I have a purpose. God gave me a servant heart and I vow to use that to His glory as long as He keeps me here on earth. Give to others. …

This One Sunday

“And so here I am, preaching and writing about things that are way over my  head, The inexhaustible riches and generosity of Christ. My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God, Who created all this in the first place, Has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along.”  Ephesians 3:8 (MSG) Mental health illness and challenges; part of our family for over 20 years. God’s Calling His Church

Well they have pea graveled the main highway between our house and town. I know it’s called chip and seal now, but it’s still a very difficult road to be on. Hope I understood this passage correctly, but you may want to read it in your Bible. If so, read Numbers 8: 23-26. It is a bit difficult to understand retirement being set at fifty years of age when many men …

No Brakes No Steering

Danny decided our car needed washing, so we pulled in to one of the newest ones while we were in a nearby town. This one was different than any I’ve ever seen. You pull up, choose your wash, pay the money and then you put your car in neutral, take your hands off the steering wheel and remove your foot from the brake. It then compels you forward and take you through the entire wash by itself. It sure felt weird neither to steer nor to put on the brakes. But when we were through we drove out the …
