For years I worked in a salon with a woman who had a largely older clientele, and I was always struck by the kindness with which she treated her clients. The women had been coming for decades, many with appointments side by side. After so many years, they became friends. Let Your Love Scatter

    One of the things I love to see in springtime is the tiny dandelions dotting my yard. I know to most it’s a weed, but for me it takes me back to my childhood where my wishes hung from its green stalk begging me to send them flying. I would pluck them up, close my eyes and blow my wishes to the heavens watching them soar.
