My parents had a percolator going every morning before daylight. I could always hear the water pop up into the clear top followed by the most aromatic smell of coffee. I even had my own coffee cup to join them in their favorite daily drink. Of course mine was very little coffee with milk and sugar. I continued that tradition with my grands when they were younger.
