God’s Plan for Redemption

God wrote His story before creation came into being even before He created the heavens and the earth. Because God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent He sees all, knows all, is everywhere at the same time and so powerful He can speak a word and it will be so. Because of who He is, God had a detailed plan to bring about the redemption of fallen man even before Adam and Eve were created and sinned in the Garden of Eden. It was God who planned to bring salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son.  He determined the …

My Redemption Story

It was a Sunday and that means church.  But it was not the usual Sunday. With Christmas around the corner it was time to attend my grandson’s Christmas play.  Our daughter was in town and we decided to all go as a family. We arrived at church and socialized and showed off all our new grandbabies then settled into our seats.  As I sat there holding one of the little guys my heart flooded. I became undone. I looked to my left and to my right and I was surrounded by my family.  Then I heard “this is your redemption …

The Throttle of Our Lives

Such a simple word. Such a profound message. To be accepted from the viewpoint of Christ He agreed to take us into His Kingdom. He consented to give His own life for us. God gave us a positive …

Ancestry of Faith

There is this fascination with knowing my ancestors that results from never really knowing anything about anyone beyond my grandfather Warren.  So imagine my delight when I recently found a family tree with Warrens several generations back!  Not only that, I found a very distant living cousin as well.  I still don’t know about those who came before me.  I just know their names.  I could spend much time trying to glean more information but I’m quite happy to know that my grandfather had a grandfather and I know his name.  I don’t know them – but I know something …
