Sifted and Tried

Have you ever felt like nuggets of gold in sand being sifted in an effort to separate gold from grains of sand?  Been in deep water up your chin and can’t swim?  or Been in a boat with no paddle? During many recent months, sometimes I felt that helpless, but never threw in the proverbial towel and gave in to my circumstances. Though living as an evacuee during about two and one half years and living in several places, God was with me and though sometimes distressed, continued my writing ministry, which was good therapy. God Gives Us Signs

The office where I work is in the same building as some federal offices. They are not open. And there are more than enough signs on the doors entering the building and their office door that you would know that. Yet yesterday I watched a man come inside the building and attempt to go in that door. The office is dark and the door would not open and again, the signs were there. But he kept trying to go in. Finally, he turned and left. I’m not sure if he ever read the signs. He looked rather perplexed. God gives …
