“This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.” Genesis 2:4-6 “Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the …
Hail Storm
“Behold, about this time tomorrow, I will send a very heavy hail, such as has not been seen in Egypt from the day it was founded until now.” Exodus 9:18 Pharaoh, in Egypt kept trying to stop the Israelites from leaving Egypt even though He would say yes, then no. Pharaoh even said to Moses and Aaron that he had sinned and acknowledged that he had sinned. Yet again, and again and again, Pharaoh went back on his word. Are we like that? Do we say yes Lord, then we back out. Are we the people …
Send Rain
“Then hear Thou in heaven and forgive the sin of Thy servants and of Thy people Israel, indeed, teach them the good way in which they should walk. And send rain on Thy land, which Thou hast given Thy people for an inheritance.” 1 Kings 8:36 Do you speak & encourage others to pass on the inheritance of the Lord? The next generation must know of the Lord just like Israel passed on their inheritance to the next generation. Teach one another of the Lord Jesus. Tanya Jackson
Clouds, Wind and Lightning
“He causes the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightning for the rain; Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.” Psalm 135:7 We can see the clouds, the lightning, the wind from His treasuries. Imagine, these things we see all the time. Look up, look up, look up. God has shown us His treasuries for our benefit. Tanya Jackson
Rain in its Season
“They do not say in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, Who gives rain in its season, Both the autumn rain and the spring rain, who keeps for us the appointed weeks of the harvest.” Jeremiah 5:24 I know that God is good, but are we fearing the Lord our God? He gives to us, but will He continue to give us blessings if we are not worshiping Him, and Him alone? Choose God. Tanya Jackson
Patience in the Rain
“Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.” James 5:7 While we are being patient like a farmer, think of some of God’s attributes: Eternal, Holy, Merciful, Infinite, Omniscient, Sovereign, Omnipresent… Ask yourself, why wouldn’t you want God to have those attributes. God is good. Tanya Jackson
God Provides
And Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself the Lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” So the two of them walked on together. Genesis 22: 8 This may be one of the best lessons to us personally and to the Body of Christ. Such a simple way of learning God. See how Abraham just acknowledges God’s provision even though he hasn’t seen it yet. If we are going to be in harder situations in the future we must say “God will provide.” Did you see the next line? “So the two of them walked on together.” Abraham …
Giving Counsel
“Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them, as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens. And let them judge the people at all times, and let it be that every major dispute they will bring to you, but every minor dispute they themselves will judge. So it will be easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you. If you do this thing and God so commands you, then you …
Provide the Gospel
“Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, or a bag for your journey, or even two tunics, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is worthy of his support. And into whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it: and abide there until you go away. And as you enter the house, give it your greeting. And if the house is worthy, let your greeting of peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your greeting of peace return to you. And whoever does …
God’s World
“Thou dost visit the earth, and cause it to overflow; Thou dost greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; Thou dost prepare their grain, for thus Thou dost prepare the earth.” Psalm 65:9 God just laid down how our earth is prepared to provide. Tanya Jackson
God’s Provision
After giving a testimony to the Sanhedrin some of the Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. God intervened. Paul Transferred to Caesarea “And he called to him two of the centurions, and said, “Get two hundred soldiers ready by the third hour of the night to proceed to Caesarea, with seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen.” They were also to provide mounts to put Paul on and bring him safely to Felix the governor.” Acts: 23: 23-24 This is such …
God Knows How To Provide
Then Joseph gave orders to fill their bags with grain and to restore every man’s money in his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey. And thus it was done for them. So they loaded their donkeys with their grain, and departed from there. And as one of them opened his sack to give his donkey fodder at the lodging place, he saw his money; and behold, it was in the mouth of the sack. Then he said to his brothers, “My money has been returned and behold, it is even in my sack.” And their …
