Memories of a Centenarian Scripture: “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23: 5-6 While I sat and meditated, thoughts of my earlier life filled my mind: I was the oldest of ten children, lived on a farm and been raised during difficult times. 1918, the year of my birth, influenza caused more deaths than the war being fought. Unpack Those Boxes

It’s hard to believe but we have some boxes in the shop that are still packed up from when we moved into this house nearly 20 years ago. Some boxes are trinkets and treasures still held dear, but no place to put them. Others are boxes with who knows what inside them. I need to open all the boxes and see what I can find.
