God’s Discovery Channel

God is allowing us to discover new insights and fresh truth. We are entering uncharted territory. Nature has thrown us a curve that science hasn’t even found truth for.   I am sitting here this morning wondering what the message will be and I hear the word Discovery. We love the Discovery Channel. I am more drawn to the nature type shows and hubby likes the science and technology stuff. We have plenty to watch for both of us. Choose a Word

For the past several years a group of my Facebook friends and I have chosen a word that we feel God wants us to understand more fully.  For one year we pray over this word, study it in depth and most of all we pray over this word. It is once again time for us to choose our word for the year 2020.  In the past I have chosen hope, joy (my favorite), peace, blessing and last year women.  This morning as I was contemplating of my new word the Holy Spirit began to reveal something different …

My husband, Owen, and I sat and spoke with Lisa while she was staying with us on several different occasions about heart issues. Lisa shared with us the struggles of a being a homeless addict. Owen and I shared about God’s faithfulness to each of us. Lisa …

So instead of picking up our usual brand I picked up a bag of this new brand’s Rise and Shine light roast. Well when I made the pot of coffee it was delicious. But within a few minutes My chest hurt and I found myself jittery. I realized that this coffee actually has more caffeine, so I got a jolt to start my day! What do you drink of first thing? The troubles of the day, the losses you have had, the …
