Our Stella wanted a snake for Christmas! A python like she saw at the pet store a while back. That is, until she found out that pythons like to squeeze and eat animals whole. After that she decided no she wasn’t going to take that chance.
Sometimes all we need are the facts.
Oh beloved, you are so prized by the Lord. He gave his only begotten son for you. He knows what you want he knows your hearts desires. He understands. You want the very best Christmas ever. You want your life to work out well. There are some things that you have been thinking about that might make life better for you. At least that’s what you think.
But before you make that decision the Lord wants you to go to his word and look to the facts. He will never steer you wrong. He will never give you over to the enemy. He will never let evil triumph over you. He will never lead you into temptation. He will always give you victory, walk you through to triumph, and bless you with the desire to love for Him in spite of your struggle between wants, needs and His will.
He says you aren’t a failure, a mistake or a has been. Life is coursing through your veins and that’s cause for great joy! Everything may not be perfect, but your life is perfectly settled in Him. What a beautiful life to be in Christ and to have His Word for your decision maker!
God loves you and He’s for you. Run to Him this morning and give Him your desires, hopes and dreams. And then walk through the Word and live for Christ as you rejoice in Gods best for your life!
