The Gator In The Dream

Recently I dreamed that we were sight seeing and looking at a lake. There was a woman and little girl there too. As they were walking away from the shoreline I spotted a medium size gator right at the edge of the water. I hollered out to look. Well that woman wanted to go right up to the gator! I was calling out to her to be careful as alligators are fast movers, even on land. And while I was talking to her and worrying about her to my husband in the truck with me, the little girl ran right into the water just inches away from the animal! What a dream.

Oh beloved, we dream because of all kinds of reasons. But sometimes a dream has a message in it. In this day and age, warning anyone about anything seems to be well, not taken well. Just as I was busy warning that young woman in my dream, she was not paying much attention to me. Nor to her little girl. Once she realized the danger, she did go into the water and get the child.

God wants you to know this morning that there is much danger in the world today. It’s more than a virus. It’s the dangerous life of not living according to God’s Precepts. The Word tells you to live for the Lord and to watch for the enemy is a roaring lion (another dangerous animal) seeking whom he may devour. But you have decided to live for Jesus. And you have stood your ground against things that everyone considers normal. You are not living to please God so you can go to heaven. No, you are a living on earth as one who has been changed from the inside out. Jesus gave you the opportunity and power to live a life of abundance in the Spirit. The promise of heaven is so rich and wonderful. But Jesus alone and faith in Him gives you the entrance to the celestial forever home.

God sees the situations you have struggled with. As though an alligator is about to clamp down on you and draw you into the water to your death. But He says this morning, rise up and pray. Rise up and speak the Word. Rise up and praise His name. The enemy is strong, but your faith is stronger. You aren’t a victim of a single episode of trouble. You are the winner in your story, because Jesus is your Hero! God promises through Christ to come to your aide always. God will warn you along the way but the warning is always to save your life. Keep speaking the Truth, and keep living for Jesus!

God loves you and He’s for you. There is your power against the enemy. Nothing like the love of God to save you, heal you, deliver you and set you free to live righteously in all seasons. Rejoice in your position in Christ and live without fear of the enemy ever again.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] Amplified

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place.

Proverbs 9:9 Instruct the wise, and they will be even wiser. Teach the righteous, and they will learn even more.
