The Glitchy Life

Working from home has its perks and I’ve been doing it now since mid March. I have an app downloaded that allows the calls to the office to ring on my cell phone. Yesterday was a big day for phone calls. But it was also a big day for glitchy internet at the office. And for some reason not all of the calls would connect right here. I did a lot of calling numbers back here.

Oh beloved, aren’t we thankful that with the Lord there is never a dropped or missed call? Never. Technology is awesome, but we don’t have to rely on anything but calling out to God and He hears every time. We have this Advocate when the connection seems glitchy. He stepped onto the cross and into the grave and secured a perfect connection for our lives.

God wants you to know that He hears every call. You may not think He has heard because you don’t have all the answers. But His answers are never delayed. You may have even said that He is an 11th hour God. But truth is He is a Right On Time God! Delays are inevitable, but in those delays, God is working all things according to His will and for your good. You may worry about the connection but if you have Jesus and He has changed your life, then that secure connection is made by the Blood of the Lamb! Keep asking, keep knocking, keep seeking. That’s your job. Make the calls for your life as needed. And no issue is too small or too great to call on the Lord. This season has seen many delays you haven’t wanted. It’s costing you in many ways, just as it is most Americans. But God knows and He sees, so you can relax and resist the urge to hang up and quit trying to call on Him. You are never called to fail, you are always called to wait on the Lord!

God loves you and He’s for you. Ask Him to teach you how to listen for His still small voice. Ask Him to reveal the Word so that you know when it’s the Lord calling and not the enemy. You will get crank calls, but God’s call uplifts your heart, even in correction, and He never speaks in opposition to His Word. Run to Him this morning and thank Him that, even in your darkest hour, He is speaking to your heart. And live, precious believer, with your great faith of believing in His answers and His provision always.

Luke 11: 9-10 So I say to you, ask and keep on asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking, and you will find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened. AMP

Hebrews 6: 17-19 Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.

I John 5: 14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Psalm 59: 9 I will wait for You, O You his Strength; for God is my defense.
