The Platter

When I was making the most recent birthday cake I had a particular platter that I wanted to put it on. Try as I might to look for it I could not find it anywhere. I could even remember putting it somewhere but couldn’t quite remember just where.

Then while I was texting my precious cousin sister friend in faith, I told her to please pray that I would find that platter. She prayed right there on the text. And I told her I would text her as soon as I found it.

I returned to the search with a big flashlight that helps me see back in my cabinets. And there was. Less than a minute after the prayer the platter was brought to my eyes. I texted her immediately and said is this fast enough answer to prayer?

Oh beloved don’t we wonder why sometimes prayers are answered so quickly? And then other Prayers seem to take so long? If we’re not careful we will spend all our time worrying about yet to be answered prayer and lose connection to the One who answers. It’s imperative that you and I remember Jesus Himself is ever making intercession for us. If He doesn’t quit praying then we shouldn’t either.

God loves you and He is for you. Trust keeps praying. Faith keeps waiting. Love keeps hoping. Run to Him this morning and submit completely to Him. And live in the Light of His presence always.

Romans 8:34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, but rather, was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!
