A couple of days ago I found this soft shell turtle while walking. This turtle was so very tired.
Today while walking I found these eggs that have been devoured and found a piece of shell away from the other eggs.
It looks like one may have been spared. I’m guessing raccoons found them.
God will leave the 99 and go to the one. Maybe He sent me to help this one? I covered the one remaining egg just in case it’s God plan for this one to thrive.
It seems the soft shell turtle I had encountered the other day was exhausted from laying her eggs. I’m so sad to see this happened. This turtle Mom did her best to hide her eggs, but still bad happened. That is true for humans as well. Sometimes we try our best and bad happens. But unlike this turtle we have a soul and the ability to cry out to Jesus. He is our hope through the good and the bad.
Don’t live life like this soft shell turtle, alone without Jesus. Today’s world isn’t so bad that Jesus can’t or won’t help you.
When you have Jesus that doesn’t mean your life instantly gets “fixed”, your finances improve immensely and great wealth follows, or your diagnosis is taken away and you are healed. Although it is entirely possible with God.
It means you have hope and peace. You know that this world is not your home. You have a placed fit for the King or Queen you are in Christ. You are royalty. You are worthy. You are loved. You are protected. You are His.
So don’t let these devoured and scattered shells be your life. God’s got this. And He would love to have you. But the catch is, it’s your choice.
God will leave the 99 to help the one. Maybe He sent me to help you?
