Time Wasters

We didn’t have much time to waste. Danny was in the facility to learn as much as possible quickly. His goal was to walk out of there and he concentrated on that and made effort to do so. How he walked and how he stepped had to be done right so that he wouldn’t learn a poor way of walking that would cause him problems later.

You and I don’t have any time to waste either. There is much to learn in the Kingdom and we need to be as ready as ever. We don’t have room for time wasters. Worry. Fear. Doubt. Self-condemnation. These things must go. We don’t want to learn bad habits that weaken us instead of strengthening our minds.

Oh beloved. Run to the Word and learn what it says about your life. Believe His instructions for living. Let go of bad habits and grab hold of God’s plans. There is coming a time you will need it to walk rightly so problems do occur. The times and season you are in make you want to give up. But God says stand up. Exercise your spiritual rights and authority. Repeat the Word as you go- no weapon formed against you will prosper. You will declare the Truth as you walk in it. When the enemy comes to say you can’t get any better he will flee for you are learning much and you are increasing your strength even now.

God loves you and He’s for you. That’s enough to give you courage to stand and insight to live in the light of His Wisdom and Power.

I Timothy 4: 8  “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”

2 Timothy 3: 16-17  “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Proverbs 24: 10   “If you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength!”

Ephesians 6: 10   “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.”
